- Base recipe = 2 cups
- Each extra cup:
- 200 ml water
- 1 tsp chai
- 1 tsp sugar
- 200 ml cow milk

- Add 500 ml water to a pot
- With 3 heaped tsp masala chai
- And fresh ginger slices
- Bring to a boil
- Simmer vigorously for 10 min

- Add 500 ml cow milk
- Bring back to a boil
- Simmer for 10 min (if 2 cups)
- Or until reduced by half (if more than 2 cups)

- Remove from heat
- Let sit for 5 min

- Strain through mesh
- Discard solids
- Serve
